A nice climb into Alpine splendour, with three amazing lakes on the way up.

Directions to the trailhead

Route 99 from Vancouver to Pemberton. Carry on past Pemberton to Mount Currie, take the first right after the sharp left hand turn and proceed up the Duffy highway (route 99). About 23k after your last right turn, you will see the parking lot for Joffre which is well marked and signed.


Detailed description of the trail

This trail climbs through the forest alongside of Joffre Creek. You will pass two remarkable lakes, with the first less than five minutes from the trailhead. It's well worth the grunt up to the third lake. From the third lake you can explore Tszil mountain and glacier, Two Goat pass and many more options.
